After four unsuccessful season in the NBA, Jan Vesely took him and his “talents”, or whatever you want to call what he has, to Fenerbahce Ulker of the Turkish Basketball League. In last night’s contest, Vesely was able to use those talents to throw down this emphatic dunk, which was maybe the one aspect of his game that fans in DC and Denver actually enjoyed.
In his NBA career, Vesely averaged 3.6 points, and 3.5 rebounds in 15.2 minutes per game. These non stellar stats are why he decided to move onto the Turkish Basketball League, where he could be more of a stud if you want to categorize him as that.
This is the kind of play fans of the league expected when Jan was taken with the 6th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. If he could have consistently made plays like this, we may still be matching him do this daily rather than only seeing this one highlight. Vesely could make a return to the NBA if he is able to find a team willing to take him, but he may have more fun leaving his talents in Turkey.
