The Chicago Bulls have completely shaken up their coaching staff. First, they fired long time coach Tom Thibodeau, hired Iowa State Head Coach Fred Hoiberg, and now we hear news that they have hired Jim Boylen as their lead assistant coach. Boylen was a former assistant coach in San Antonio under Gregg Popovich.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! and K.C Johnson of the Chicago Tribune:

Hoiberg had been looking for a former Spurs coach or assistant in order to help him with his first year in the league. Hoiberg will be a rookie coach and he will need the experience. Hoiberg will have a rough first year with high expectations, he is entering a job with players & an organization that want to win NOW. With Boylen, Hoiberg’s job is made a little bit easier, and more experience is added to the Bulls bench. Boylen was a head coach at the University of Utah Utes before being fired in 2011, and being hired as an assistant in San Antonio in 2012.
