Spears is also reporting that the Kings were one of two teams that showed interest in Henderson.
“It’s been my dream to play in the NBA,” Henderson said. “To be close and to think that a couple of decisions that I made harmed me from getting the necessary looks this past summer, that hurt.”
Henderson is talking about his time at Ole Miss, where he had many off the court issues.
Henderson has come a long way from his time in college, during an interview with yahoo over the winter, he explains how he has changed since then and how he’s been trying to better himself.
