Flo Rida tells fellow Sunshine State rapper Kodak Black to hold true to his confident demeanor. Kodak Black recently found himself in yet another controversy, this time comparing himself to Hip Hop legends.
An interview aired on the Domenick Nati Show shares a phone call with Flo Rida and the show’s host where they discuss all things pop culture. From the Jussie Smollett case to Jennifer Lopez’s newest engagement. When it comes to Kodak Black however, Flo Rida offers a piece of advice to help the rapper in the long run.
Admittedly not too close with the story, when asked his thoughts on Kodak Black’s claims to be better than Tupac and Flo Rida responds understandably.
“There’s nothing wrong with believing in yourself but definitely respect to Tupac” says Flo Rida after noting he’s a fan of both artists.
During the brief interview, fans also learn that Flo Rida dates himself and that he once lived with Flava Flav. The rapper remains booked to join Nelly and TLC on a summer 2019 amphitheater tour. A statement released by Live Nation claims the concertgoers should expect a nonstop party.
