Coming straight to you from the District, Def Pen presents Ms. Kani. Hailing from the nation’s capital, Ms. Kani brings a ninety’s vibe and a gritty attitude. Most notably, Ms. Kani is gaining some traction for her “Flava In Ya Ear” freestyle video. Shot in front of the Washington monument, Kani raps “They’re always in their bag, but is that where the bag is at n*gga?/I’m putting flavor in your ear, Craig Mack/Serena Williams/I’m always with a rack/Like my a**/The pockets got fat.” All in all, the D.C. focused visuals give a 90’s vibe that is always nostalgic and fun if done right.
