There was always a possibility that Saric wouldn’t go to the NBA. It’s probably why you barely hear much of him even though he’s projected in the top 15 of most people’s Draft boards but there was always doubt of him even committing to the NBA.
But according to Chad Ford of ESPN.com Saric has signed a three-year deal with Turkish powerhouse Anadolu Efes…
The move will essentially prohibit Saric from playing in the NBA for a minimum of two years, the source added.
Saric was widely considered a top-10 prospect by the majority of teams in the NBA. He averaged 19.3 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game for Cibona in the Adriatic League this year.
Now for those that don’t know the Draft. Teams can still pick him. He just won’t come to the NBA until after the two year minimum.
He’s certainly a good player. Just look at the stats. But we’re gonna have to wait till he feels like it. Can’t force talent…
