Guardians of the Galaxy has offered a new look at its villains courtesy of Empire
Nebula [Karen Gillan], Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) and Korath the Pursuer (Djimon Hounsou) feature on the magazine’s new cover.
A second cover shows off the Marvel Studios film’s heroes Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista) Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) and Groot (Vin Diesel.)
James Gunn directed the upcoming cosmic movie, which sees the heroes on a race across the universe with an object that could destroy existence.
Nathan Fillion was recently confirmed to have a small cameo in the film, although not as the hero Nova as had been rumored.
John C Reilly, Glenn Close, Benicio del Toro and Peter Serafinowicz will also feature in the movie.
Guardians of the Galaxy will be released on August 1.
