The fifth Jason Bourne film has finally gotten a release date.
Universal Pictures has announced that the highly anticipated sequel is slated to hit theaters on July 29, 2016.
Matt Damon is set to make his return to the franchise and reprise his role as CIA agent Jason Bourne after being absent from the previous film ‘The Bourne Legacy’. Director and producer Paul Greengrass is also returning to the series.
Damon and Greengrass are reportedly writing the screenplay together.
