It’s becoming a reoccurring notion that we should almost always expect new music from Fetty Wap every few days. Since the release of his debut album back in September, there hasn’t been a shortage of new tunes from Fetty Wap. Realistically, the singer/rapper has dished out at least another album’s worth of material for the Hip-Hop scene. Continuing in that same fashion, Fetty Wap has dropped off a brand new record that’s just in time for the rapidly approaching Christmas holiday. ‘Merry Xmas’ is the quintessential Fetty Wap record that we have grown to expect from Fetty at this point. Decked with additional touches from Monty, Mr. Wap turns the record into a love song as he sings, “All I want for Christmas is you” and continues the sweet talk as he drops references to Ms. Robyn ‘Rihanna’ Fenty’s smash hit record, ‘Diamonds.’ Aside from what seems to be Fetty living in the recording studio, yesterday he announced that he’s hitting the road for the “Welcome The Zoo” tour that will also feature Post Malone and Monty. If anything, Fetty is proving that his work ethic should not be questioned as he’s been consistently all over the place, even with his injury. Go ahead and give ‘Merry Xmas’ a listen, below.
