Could it be? A sequel to the beloved ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’? Rumors have been swirling around ever since this Super Bowl teaser was released featuring Matthew Broderick reciting a famous line from the movie with that classic song at the end. What exactly could this teaser mean? Possibly Matthew Broderick is performing at the Super Bowl halftime just like his character sang on the parade floats? Of course I’d love to think that it means a sequel is in the works but it seems impossible that it would have been kept a secret this long without word ever getting out!
If it is true, it would make it 25 years after the original film came out in 1986. That’s a pretty long gap but I’d be willing to bet everyone still remembers him! After all, he’s one of the most iconic characters from the 80’s!
‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ was about a high school wise guy who is determined to have a day off from school with his best pal Cameron and girlfriend Sloane, despite of what the Principal or his sister might think of that. What could the sequel be about? Bueller wants to take a day off from work with his still best pal Cameron and wife Sloane, despite of what his corporate boss thinks? I think it could be golden!
