Felicity Jones has landed the female lead role in an upcoming Star Wars stand-alone film.
According to THR, Tatiana Maslany and Rooney Mara were among the actresses who read and tested for the role last week in Los Angeles.
Aaron Paul and Edgar Ramirez are being considered for the male lead.
The details of the project are being extremely kept under wraps, however it has a scheduled release date of Dec. 16, 2016.
