Universal Studios has announced plans for a Fast & Furious ride.
Fast & Furious- Supercharged: The Ride, promises a “movie-thrill ride hybrid in which occupants of Universal’s framed back-lot trams will be encircled by 400-foot long movie screens.”
Universal also added that the ride will make visitors feel like they’re doing speeds at “over 100 miler per hour.”
Fast & Furious- Supercharged: The Ride, is expected to open in 2015.
Fast & Furious the ride is not the only thing Universal Studios is working on.
The company is currently building sections dedicated to the Harry Potter and Despicable Me film series.
“We’re trying to significantly broaden our base,” said Larry Kurzweil, president of Universal Studios Hollywood. “This isn’t about adding rides. It’s about a complete transformation.”
Fast & Furious 7 is scheduled for release on April 10, 2015.
Production on the action sequel recently resumed in Abu Dhabi, following the death of star Paul Walker late last year.
