After a very long and emotional filming process ‘Fast & Furious 7’ has concluded filming.
The film was originally slated to open this weekend but was pushed back to next year after the sudden death of one of the franchise’s stars Paul Walker.
A letter thanking fans for sticking by their side through the process was uploaded to the movie’s Facebook page.
After Walker’s death, his brothers Cody and Caleb stepped in to act as body doubles for Paul. The studio will then superimpose Paul’s face onto his brothers bodies in order to finish his scenes.
The film has also gone undergone several rewrites in order to retire Paul’s character rather than kill him off.
Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Djimon Hounsou, Kurt Russell and Tyrese Gibson reprise their roles in the film.
‘Fast & Furious 7’ will now hit theaters on April 3.
