Your favourite comedy shows are returning to Fox. The network has officially announced that ‘Family Guy’ and ‘Bob’s Burgers’ will be renewed for new seasons, once again.
The animated hits Family Guy and Bob’s Burgers were quietly renewed months ago for their 18th and 10th seasons, respectively. (Representatives for Fox and producers 20th Century Fox TV declined comment.)
Family Guy, which is on currently on Season 17, started back in 1999 and has become a regular TV program in homes across North America, but it’s also seen declines in viewership. As for Bob’s Burgers, which is a fairly new show in the minds of viewers compared to Family Guy, is currently on its 9th season and still has a long ways to go before entering its final stretch.
Despite being in an animated world where anything is possible, the shows eventually run out of spice and creativity. Something that a lot of people say regarding the 29th season of The Simpsons. The Characters are beloved. The episodes amazing. But at some point, these shows begin to become stale.
Regardless, it clearly isn’t happening anytime soon. Fox will be pushing forward with both of these shows and fans, we’re here for it.
