Jada Pinkett Smith is slated to return with a new lineup of Red Table Talk episodes beginning on March 31. Alongside her daughter, Willow Smith, and mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, Pinkett Smith will roll out new episodes weekly at 12 p.m. ET.
Red Table Talk is coming off of a buzzworthy run in 2020. Last year, the show made headlines when Pinkett Smith opened up about her past “entanglement” with August Alsina. The season was then capped off by an appearance from Olivia Jade Gianulli. Gianulli opened up about her parent’s involvement in the highly publicized “Varsity Blue” scandal. Banfield-Norris pushed back against Pinkett Smith bringing her on the show.
“Her being here is the epitome of white privilege, to me,” Banfield-Norris told her daughter.
It is currently the number one show on Facebook Watch. Red Table Talk has also garnered three Daytime Emmy nominations and won three NAACP Image Awards.
“As a producer, it is a thrill to witness three generations take on topics that are groundbreaking, important and healing in a way that we have never quite seen before,” Red Table Talk Executive Producer Ellen Rakieten said.
“In partnership with Facebook Watch, we have created a new lane for a new kind of conversation. We are grateful to the millions who have built our loyal and passionate ‘Red Table Talk’ community and are excited about our new episodes that are sure to have everyone sharing, liking and commenting.”
