Fabolous has entered in a plea deal in the domestic violence case involving his longtime significant other, Emily B. According to a report from TMZ, “The rapper will enter a pretrial intervention program. This is generally offered to first-time offenders.” If he completes the program and remains out the criminal justice system, the charges should be dismissed. In addition, the New York native’s legal team noted that he must update the court about his status once a month. However, he will not have to attend any anger management or therapy sessions.
Previously, Fabolous had faced up to twenty years for an incident stemming back to March of 2018 involving Emily B. Fabolous allegedly threatened Emily and her father. The incident became a major topic of discussion in the weeks following the incident when a video of the alleged crimes was released. He was ultimately charged with aggravated assault and making a terrorist threat.
Fabolous and Emily B have remained together through this legal ordeal and continued to raise their two children. Fabolous and Emily B have yet to make a public statement regarding the matter. However, we can expect Fabolous to release new music and engage in public interviews in the months and years to come.
