What a beautiful year for F Gary Gray. If you’re not in the know, F Gary Gray is coming off of directing the most successful biopic in history with, Straight Outta Compton. Now it was only a matter of time before every studio would be knocking at Gray’s door so he can direct their films and this week he was attached to two films, Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ and Universal’s Fast & Furious.
A few days back Vin Diesel took to his Facebook and posted a picture with him and Gary, but with no caption, which of course leads to much speculation. Now, today, F Gary Gray officially confirmed that he will in fact be the director for Fast & Furious 8 on his Twitter. Along with the few kind words he had to say, he shared the released date for Fast 8.
