Being a player in the NBA could be hard at times. You have to deal with the media, sometimes when you don’t want too,
you play 82 games a season and maybe some more if you make the playoffs and you often have to deal with contract negotiations involving millions of dollars at a time.
Ok, being an NBA player doesn’t sound like a bad job actually so for Boston Celtics guard Evan Turner to be considering a second job as an Uber driver, it might come across as something a little interesting as Celtics training camp starts in 11 days.
Following from Turner’s twitter account.
@thekidet Umm, yes please. You had us at green Range Rover ?

Basketball players being Uber drivers isn’t exactly a new thing. Former Xavier star and current member of the Crailsheim Merlins in Germany, Matt Stainbrook, was famously driving Uber’s during his collegiate career.
Honestly, Turner whipping around a green Range Rover, driving C’s fans around, possibly to games he’s about to play in, would be an awesome thing to see. Just imagine leaving a game, going down the street to get something to eat or drink and then calling for an Uber and up drives a green range rover with Evan Turner in the driver’s seat ready to take you to your destination. Hopefully his car is full of treats, water and good music so he could get a 5 star rating.
