Former second overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft Evan Turner sure doesn’t lack confidence.
Returning to Philadelphia for the second time since the Sixers traded him a year ago, Turner heard boos from the fans who “packed” the Wells Fargo Center for Sixers vs Celtics.
“Before the game I signed like 100,000 autographs, I’m kissing babies and what not and all that stuff,” Turner said. “I’m getting my hand kissed by people; I got little girls come up to me fainting.”
Then the swing man from Ohio State might have said the quote of the year when asked about the boos.
“Even Jesus was hated too.”
Boom, Evan Turner is Jesus.
