
On Thursday, February 2nd, FIBA announced the finalized schedule for the Eurobasket 2017 tournament this summer. The four host nations for group play are Finland, Israel, Romania and Turkey. Turkey will host the knockout stages.
The tournament will tip-off with Group A action on August 31st at Helsinki Arena in Finland when Slovenia take on Poland at 1:45pm local time (6:45 am ET). Group B will tip-off in Tel Aviv, Israel at the Tel Aviv Arena on the same day at 3:45pm local time (8:45 am ET) with Germany facing Ukraine. Group D will start the next day, tipping-off at 2:15pm local time (6:15 am) with Belgium vs Great Britain at the Fenerbahce Arena in Istanbul, Turkey. Group C will be the last one to tip off with Hungary vs Croatia at Polyvalent Hall in Cluj-Napoca, Romania at 3:00pm local time (8:00 am ET).

Group Stage play will end on September 7th, and there will be a rest/travel day afterward as all teams will head to Istanbul for the knockout stages. Knockout play will take place at Sinan Erdem Arena and begins on September 9th, the Final Four begins on September 14th, and the final will on September 17th at 9:30pm local time (1:30 pm ET).
