The price of the brick is going up…again! For the second time within 12 months, ESPN has announced that the monthly price of its premium subscription service will rise. This time around, the annual subscription will rise from $59.99 to $69.99. Moreover, monthly subscribers will pay $5.99 instead of $6.99. With that said, those who pay for a subscription bundle that includes Hulu, Disney+ and ESPN+ will not see a rise in price. That particular bundle will continue to be offered for $13.99.
ESPN has worked to add more combat sports programming to its premium service this month. Subscribers will now have access to The Chael Sonnen Show with Jorge Sedano and DC & RC. In addition, the UFC and ESPN are reportedly looking forward to bringing Nick Diaz back to the octagon in September for a pay-per-view card. Not to mention, Joe Smith Jr. is reportedly nearing a two-fight deal that would bring two light heavyweight title fights to the worldwide leader in sports.
The subscription service’s price increase is expected to go into effect on August 13. Enjoy the lower price while you still can.
