ESPN is reportedly interested in bringing back Dan Patrick. According to Front Office Sports, the worldwide leader in sports is interested in bringing on Patrick to host SportsCenter on weekdays in the afternoon. In addition, ESPN would like to have him appear on the radio if at all possible.
Previously, Patrick was a SportsCenter host for nearly two decades. He also hosted his radio show, The Dan Patrick Show, from 1999 to 2007.
Over the last few months, ESPN has brought back longtime favorites such as Chris Berman, Tom Jackson, and Keith Olbermann. Skip Bayless is also rumored to be interested in reuniting with Stephen A. Smith on First Take. However, they’ve also lost talent such as Jemele Hill, Michael Smith, Bob Ley and Mike Tirico in recent months.
Patrick currently hosts his own radio show, the Dan Patrick Show. In recent months, he’s opened up about his own health issues. It’s unclear if Patrick is interested in returning to television. Only time will tell.
