Over the past twenty-four hours, Michael Jordan, Barack Obama, Tiger Woods and many others have paid tribute to the all-time pop culture icon. Continuing the ongoing tribute to the Los Angeles Lakers legend, ESPN has opted to re-air Kobe Bryant’s final game on Monday, January 26th at 9 p.m. EST.

Bryant retired in April 2016 after he put up sixty points in a season ending win against the Utah Jazz, who were vying for the eighth seed in the Western Conference. That game capped a two decade long career that included five NBA Championships, an NBA MVP, two NBA Final MVPs and two scoring championships. Beyond his own basketball career, he inspired a generation of NBA players that includes Kyrie Irving, Trae Young and many others.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Bryant’s family, friends, fans and all those affected.
