Five years since the Phoenix Suns last made the Playoffs. They have been so close to making it, especially last season where it went down to the wire, they ended up 10th.
After making an ungodly amount of moves the past year, the Suns are sure they have their team that’ll get them Playoff basketball. But they don’t want a low seed, Eric Bledsoe says that they’re going for a high seed.
Suns guard Eric Bledsoe said this year’s team has the talent to make the playoffs – and they won’t be satisfied to simply sneak into the postseason.
“We’ve definitely trying to make a run at a playoff spot. We’re not trying to get the last spot, either,” Bledsoe said Monday at Larry Fitzgerald’s 7th Annual Supper Club event. […] “We’re trying to get a high spot. We’re definitely looking forward to it.”
“We’ve definitely got a great group of guys,” Bledsoe said. “Everybody’s been putting in work this summer, and you can see it in pickup. We’ve been playing a lot of pickup games … and it’s been fun.”
Alright hold up, let’s just chill for a second. Now the Suns could make the Playoffs, sure why not. But they won’t get anywhere above the 7th seed.
They’ll have to do some major work if they want a high seed. Bledsoe does know they’re in the Western Conference right?
