Turkey has issued an arrest warrant for Oklahoma City’s sixth man, Enes Kanter. He is suspected of being affiliated with a terrorist group. Reasons for this speculation is due to his previous support on social media for Fethullah Gulen, who allegedly staged a coup d’état against the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan last year. Kanter has also been accused of using Bylock, which is an encrypted messaging app which Turkey claims was created for use of Gulen supporters.
Kanter responded to a story on Twitter in an unusual manner.
“You cannot catch me. Hahaha. Don’t waste your energy. I am already going to come to [Turkey] to spit on all of your ugly, hate-filled faces.”

Last week, Turkey canceled Kanter’s passport and he was held in a Romanian airport for the same reasons an arrest warrant has been issued for him now. He then spoke further on the matter at hand along with their struggles throughout this process.
