Fans of Emma Watson have been asking for this for a long time now!
It has been revealed that Watson will star in Disney’s upcoming Beauty and the Beast.
The former Harry Potter star confirmed via her Facebook page that she will be playing Belle in the film to be directed by Twilight’s Bill Condon.
Watson was previously attached to a different Beauty and the Beast adaptation from Warner Bros. and Guillermo del Toro, but Del Toro dropped out this past summer.
Taking to her Facebook, Watson posted:
“My six year old self is on the ceiling – heart bursting.
Time to start some singing lessons! I can’t wait for you to see it!”
Watson is most known for her role in Harry Potter, but has since been seen in Perks of Being a Wallflower, Noah, and This Is The End.
