Emma Watson has been cast in the upcoming political thriller Colonia.
Starring alongside Daniel Bruhl, the film will be based around the true events in which a young couple were caught up in the Chilean military coup of 1973.
Daniel [Bruhl] is kidnapped by Augusto Pinochet’s secret police, forcing Lena [Watson] to join the secret cult that is holding him.
Principal photography on the film has begun and the film will be shot in Luxemburg, Germany and South America.
