Scottish-born singer and songwriter, Emeli Sandé is to release her first US single “Next To Me” from her upcoming debut “Our Version of Events” album on April 17th and is available to pre-order via iTunes. The album is due for release in the U.S. by Capitol Records on June 5th and will feature the new song “Wonder,” a collaboration with Naughty Boy and not available on the UK version. Emeli has announced two new U.S. dates, May 30th at Lincoln Hall in Chicago and June 4th at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City, in addition to her shows at the Bootleg Theatre on April 18th in Los Angeles and at the Music Hall of Williamsburg on April 24th in Brooklyn. Five lucky fans who check in to the Brooklyn show on Foursquare will get to meet Sandé after the show! These shows will be the last chance to see Sandé perform in an intimate setting before she returns to the U.S. this summer to open a series of arena shows for Coldplay, with whom she toured the UK in December.
