As Chip Kelly was let go of his position as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, it also marks the start of the team cleaning house and getting rid of all Kelly’s acquisitions.
According to a report, the Eagles are interested in getting rid of Byron Maxwell and Kiko Alonso in a deal with the Miami Dolphins and now it appears that Kelly’s big running back signings from the offseason could also be seeing their way out of Philly.

#Eagles have made it known that it's not just DeMarco Murray who is available, but also Ryan Mathews, as well, for the right price.

Mathews was arguably the team’s best running back last season, finishing with 539 yards and six touchdowns on 106 carries and after Murray struggled to start the season, Mathews took over as the starting running back midway through the 2015 campaign. Mathews is under contract next season for $4 million, the second year of a three-year, $11 million deal he signed last offseason.
Murray on the other hand was the big name coming to Philly last Spring. The 2014 rushing champion came in with high expectations with a high powered offense but his 2015 season was a big disappointment. He rushed the ball 193 times for 702 yards with six touchdowns. Murray carries a $7 million base salary in 2016 with a $13.5 million cap number, making any possibility of a trade a difficult one to facilitate, especially given his rapid production decline last season.
