The worst nightmare of Miami Heat fans has come true. A disgruntled Dwyane Wade, as expected, will hit free agency this summer and he’s looking to get paid. The thing is, it may not be with Miami. Unless it’s for cheap.
Earlier in the day, Luol Deng opted in to his deal with the Heat after it was reported that he wouldn’t come back. Just a few hours later, Wade let it be known he will opt out of his deal with the Heat.

Wade wants to get paid and you can’t blame him for that. The Heat have a different agenda with Wade, needing him to come back to not only help their salary number but also to help them in the future, to possibly chase Kevin Durant next summer.
Mickey Arrison and the Miami Heat do not want to go into the luxury tax to pay for this team and their players have not exactly helped them out. With Wade opting out and Deng opting in, they now might have to pay the two players a combined $30 million dollars next season alone.
Not to mention, they haven’t brought back Goran Dragic yet and his expected money.
