Dwyane Wade does not have an MVP vote, but he still spoke about who he would give his vote to if he did have one. Sun Sentinel reported Wade saying,
“Right now, I would say James Harden,” Wade said before Tuesday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks. “It’s tough. Any one of those top guys could be MVP. I would say James Harden from everything he’s done for the full season, the entire season. With the injury to Dwight Howard and carrying that team in the tough Western Conference and being right up there. That’s pretty impressive and he’s done it all season long.”

The beard himself, James Harden has carried the Rockets this season, and has them sitting at the three seed right now in the tough Western Conference. Harden’s colleagues also gaining MVP consideration are the Warriors Stephen Curry, who has put up an impressive season leading the Warriors to the NBA’s best overall record, and Russell Westbrook. Russell Westbrook has had an amazing season, and he has played great. Westbrook has 9 triple doubles on the season, and he has carried the Thunder with Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka injured. Westbrook is trying to carry the Thunder into the playoffs right now.
As Westbrook has led the Thunder to a low seeded playoff spot, James Harden has led the Rockets, whom have had Dwight Howard injured for quite some time, to the 3 seed in the West. James Harden has played like an MVP this season, and I agree with Dwyane Wade on who should win the prestigious award. James Harden has played very well this season, scoring a career high 27 PPG, averaging a career high 7 APG, and he has been playing better defense than he ever has, averaging 1.9 SPG. Harden has had a phenomenal season, and he has been arguably the NBA’s best player throughout the season. James Harden deserves to be the league’s MVP at the end of this season.
