The coolest part about this shot, like most Dwyane Wade highlights, is the flare. Wade couldn’t have made this look any cooler. After stealing the ball from Ricky Rubio on a drive, and with no time to advance the ball before the end of the first half, Wade took a gather dribble and spun right into his heave to the other end. Wade’s half-court buzzer beater gave the Heat a 10-point halftime lead against the Timberwolves on Wednesday night.
Be sure to acknowledge the Heat bench’s reaction, particularly from assistant coach David Fizdale. It’s worth it to keep watching it at the end of the loop.
Wade was really feeling himself in this one.
