Dwyane Wade will return to ABC’s coverage of the NBA Finals on Tuesday for Game Six after completing his Harvard education. The Miami Heat guard, who was not at Game 4 or 5 of the Finals recently finished a four-day executive course in sports and entertainment management at the ivy league school.
Wade also missed Game One of the Finals due to a commitment to a scholastic reading event in Miami. Wade is appearing in his fifth consecutive NBA Finals, the previous four as a player, and this year as a broadcaster.
Game Five is tonight in Oakland with the series split at two games. In games that Dwyane Wade has attended, LeBron James and the Cavs have won. In games Wade hasn’t been in attendance, Cleveland has lost those games.
Wade will become a free agent July 1st, saying he would invoke his opt-out clause by his late-June deadline, and then become a free agent on July 1.
