Dwight Howard’s position hasn’t changed – which would be a first in this never-ending saga – and he has informed the Orlando Magic that he still wants to be traded and will not sign another contract with the team. Howard has also informed his agent, Dan Fegan, that he wants to be traded immediately.
It is believed that Magic officials are trying to convince the All-Star center to drop his trade demand but Howard has told them he has no intentions of building any relationships with them because he has no intention of remaining with the ball club.
Howard’s preferred destination is still Brooklyn but with the unlikeliness if that happening, he is prepared to sign a long-term extension with the Lakers in free agency if traded there.
