No good news for Dwight Howard today. First he here’s he is snubbed and will not be an All-Star this year, and now he has injury problems AGAIN. Dwight had recently been out for the past couple games with a sprained ankle, but supposedly he is now feeling pain in his knee.
According to the Houston Rockets official Twitter Account:
Dwight Howard underwent an MRI today that revealed edema in his right knee. Howard will be evaluated further in the coming days.
You can just see that that news is not good news for the Rockets. James Harden won’t take that as an excuse, as he is still battling as one of the leads for MVP right now.
Yahoo Sports Adrian Wojnarowski also reports that Howard may actually miss ‘an extended amount of time’
Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard will get a second opinion on his injured right knee and could miss extended time, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
As the Rockets embarked on a two-game Eastern Conference trip to Boston and Detroit on Thursday, Howard traveled elsewhere to get further evaluation on his swollen knee, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
