
The first time that the Oklahoma City Thunder fans get to see Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook came on a night that they faced off against an up and coming Milwaukee Bucks team that was really looking forward to possibly knocking off the homecoming of the two stars back together in OKC, but the reigning MVP and his All-Star partner put the Bucks ideas of an upset to rest, defeating Milwaukee 114-101.
Russell Westbrook stole the show from Durant a little bit by leading the team in scoring, putting up 28 points and he accompanied that with 7 assists. Durant put up 23 points with 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the Thunder. Serge Ibaka scored 15 points with 5 rebounds and Reggie Jackson came off the bench to score 18 points and grab 7 rebounds.
Milwaukee Bucks were lead by O.J. Mayo who scored 18 points. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 17 points along with 7 rebounds and Jabari Parker had 15 points for the Bucks. Jerryd Bayless came off the bench for the Bucks to score 11 points.
Oklahoma City scored a season-high 114 points and shot better than 50 percent from the field for just the second time this season. Oklahoma City scored at least 100 points for the fourth time in five games after scoring 100 or more just four times in its first 16.
Oklahoma City Thunder are 8-13. Milwaukee Bucks are 11-12.
