It would be a sick April Fool’s joke to say that Dreamville’s J. Cole and T.D.E’s Kendrick Lamar are dropping their long awaited joint album. However, it’s not an April Fool’s joke to say that Dreamville’s Cozz and T.D.E’s Reason joined Childish Major for the “LamboTruck” video.
As expected, the video involves a Lamborghini truck. It also involves a few cutout versions of Top Dawg and J. Cole. Taking it back to the Revenge of the Dreamers III sessions, Reason and Cozz went viral when they rapped about robbing the two CEOs.
“Rob that n*gga?/Yeah, rob that n*gga/Look, Rob, my n*gga/You could try, but Cole ain’t a thot, my n*gga/Wait Cozz, I ain’t sayin’ he a thot, my n*gga/Look, let me explain,” the duo raps.
“We ain’t got the same father or mother, but that’s my brother/Can’t cross my n*gga/Shit, well I’m Top Dawg, my n*gga, so/I ain’t gotta pay a cost, my n*gga/Your loss, my n*gga, just don’t off that n*gga/Shit, f*ck it, I’ll stop/Look, let’s make a deal/While I go and rob Cole, you go rob Top,” the two add.
“LamboTruck” is the latest song on Revenge of the Dreamers III to get the single treatment. Check out the video above.
