So the San Antonio Spurs evened up the score against main rivals the Golden State Warriors in terms of regular season meetings. But like most things, the people focus on what’s happened most recently and now everybody is dogging the Warriors.
Some people really can’t help but get swayed by one result. Lets all calm down a bit, we still got some of the season left, which means that the Warriors can make up for the loss. 11-2 is their margin. That’s the minimum they need for the remainder of the season if they want the record. Draymond Green isn’t sweating about it.
“I want that pressure. I like the pressure. So I’m not going to shy away from saying we want the record. Absolutely, we want it. And we’re going after it.”
“Eleven and two?” Green said, standing in a hallway outside the visiting team’s locker room at AT&T Center. “We’ve won 11 games in a row this season. It ain’t nothing we can’t do. It’s possible.”
He isn’t lying. They’ve done that already, can’t put it past them. But their remaining schedule isn’t rosy. They still have two more games against San Antonio alone.
This record might go down to the wire.
