The Golden State Warriors held their victory parade on Thursday through the streets of Downtown Oakland. All the usual suspects were there, Stephen Curry, Steve Kerr, Bob Myers, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and of course the outspoken Draymond Green. The do-it-all forward is not one to shy away from the drama, and you know now that the Warriors are champions, he wanted to make sure everyone knows it. The Cleveland Cavaliers especially.
While the focus of the day was on the shirt Draymond was wearing and the social media exchange he had with LeBron James, he also took the mic and had a message for ‘The King.’ LeBron recently declared that he ‘never played’ for a superteam. While most may consider that to be mostly false, Draymond took it a step further. He straight up called out LeBron and said that James was the one to start the trend of ‘superteams’ when he went to Miami.
Take a listen to what Dray said about LeBron during his moment on stage at the end of the Warriors victory parade.

Draymond would later go on to explain his superteam thoughts to USA Today’s Sam Amick as well as why Bob Myers deserved the shoutout on stage.
“(James) showed everyone it was possible to do that. “And so, it wasn’t that (what James said) didn’t sit well with me. It didn’t bother me, but let’s just be clear. It was very surprising, because like I said, he was the one who opened the door for that. So let’s just be clear about it.”
“(Myers) doesn’t get the credit he deserves. That’s been on my mind a lot for a long time…”
“At the end of the day, you look at the work that (Myers) has done with this team, this team had never won before he got here, and he has put together a great team that’s put together two championships in three years. It’s about God damn time he got some credit for it.”
