Always at the center of attention, Draymond Green was asked before game four how it would feel to win and celebrate a championship in front of Cleveland’s home crowd. Unfortunately, for Green, the Cavaliers caught wind of his comments and used it as fuel in their 137-116 game four victory.
After the game, Green, who heard it from the Cavs faithful’s the whole night, didn’t do himself any favors by poking fun at their perceived knowledge of what transpired after he was unejected from the game.

Today, Green got a chance to elaborate on his comments and expressed how he knew he wasn’t getting ejected on what was a wild sequence.
Following from Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com.
“Everything I say, I know what I’m saying,” Green said Sunday following Warriors’ practice, in preparation for Game 5 Monday. “When I say something, I thought about what I’m going to say before I say it. I never say something and say, man, I shouldn’t have said that. Because I’m a lot smarter than people think. When I say something, I’ve already thought about what I was going to say. So, absolutely not.”
“They boo me and thought I had a tech I didn’t have, so that wasn’t sharp” Green said. “I knew I didn’t, so maybe I’m a little sharper than others. But they played ‘Hit the Road, Jack’ and I didn’t have to hit the road, so I didn’t think that was that sharp.”
