There’s no way we could go three straight years with the same two teams matching up in the NBA Finals and not get some heated moments. In game four of the 2017 NBA Finals, we got just that and more, possibly enough to satisfy us for the whole series.
Draymond Green had an interesting night in Cleveland on Friday. He tallied a flagrant foul in the first half and in the third quarter he recorded a technical foul and he was almost ejected. But during the drama in the game, Green was also almost tossed out of the contest after accumulating what seemed to be his second technical of the game. After a small miscommunication was solved, Green was able to stay and eventually they got back to playing basketball.
Obviously, as with everything nowadays, Draymond Green’s ejection and un-ejection were points of contention. After the game, Green was asked about the confusion between the scorers table, the referees and the teams. He didn’t sound too bothered by what happened but he did manage to take a shot at the people of Cleveland. He said the residents of Cleveland “don’t seem to be the sharpest people around”. Yes, Draymond Green said something controversial once again.
