Drake shatters records and reigns at the top of the streaming service’s chart.
Spotify has announced its annual “Wrapped” stat list for 2018, which according to Billboard, “determines the music trends and artists that defined the year.”
With 8.2 billion streams under his belt for 2018, Drake dominates Spotify as the most streamed artist of the year. He also tops the charts as Spotify’s most streamed artist of all time.
Drizzy’s fifth studio album Scorpion is the streaming service’s most streamed album of 2018, and “God’s Plan” is also the most streamed track of the year.
Followed closely behind the Canadian rapper as Spotify’s most streamed female artist is “thank u, next” singer, Ariana Grande.
