Drake and Oliver were the guest hosts for OVO Sound Radio episode 32 and it was full of great new music. Not only did we get new stuff from Popcaan, Roy Woods, dvsn and P.Reign but the 6ix God himself even dropped four (Yes, 4!) new tracks for our listening pleasure.
But before Drake released his new music, he made a pretty big announcement. He is coming out with a new project titled ‘More Life’ set to drop in December.
The project is in the weird middle area of not being a mixtape but also not being an album. Either way, we’re getting some new Drake music so it should be dope. Especially after hearing some of the tracks he released on Sunday night, the anticipation for new stuff is already building.
Drizzy said the following to kick off his mix (S/o to Hip-hop n More for the transcription)
“I’m off like mixtapes, I want to do a playlist. I want to give you a collection of songs that become the soundtrack to your life, so this More Life: The Playlist. Like I said, dropping in December. All original music from me. You might hear some tunes from the family on there. Just really excited. I had a great tour, I had a great summer. And most people would like go probably take a break, but for me, I just want to get right back to it. Be with the people again.
Boy Meets World Tour, coming up soon. UK, I’ll be there soon. Big up to UK massive. Everybody—Paris, Amsterdam, Sweden, anywhere we are touching down. But yeah, I just want to celebrate life. More life. That’s what we live by. That’s something we do not take for granted.”
Expect an official tracklist and some more pieces of the project to be released in the coming weeks from Drake and the OVO squad.
