One single quote can destroy everything. This is something Future has recently learned. Ciara’s boyfriend was supposed to be the support act along with R&B singer Miguel on Drake’s upcoming tour named Would You Like A Tour?.
Erika Ramez, a Billboard associate editor, sat down with Future to listen to his latest effort, Honest and took quotes to Twitter.
“Not only is future’s #honest album interesting, so are his thoughts on Drake’s #NWTS album,” Ramirez wrote and quoted Future: ” ‘Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do’ — Future.”
When Drake heard about this statement he asked his agent to drop Future from his tour – otherwise he would have to do it himself, he allegedly said. Future’s managers spoke to Billboard as they found the quote taken out of context and off the record. Billboard then deleted his comments. As the tour has 39 tour stops Future will now file a lawsuit for lost wages about $1.5 million since he was to get about 40.000 bucks a concert.
It is rumored that Jhene Aiko will replace Future.
