It’s been 430 weeks since Drake debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 list. Today, that streak came to an end. For the first time since 2009, Drake is nowhere on the chart.
Drizzy made his debut on Billboard’s Hot 100 with “Best I Ever Had” in May of 2009. Since then, he’s been on the list for his singles and guest appearances. 20 of his 155 appearances on the chart were in the top 10. The 430-week streak is a record for Billboard as it is their longest uninterrupted streak.
With More Life recently dropping, it’s surprising that the 6-God doesn’t have more songs on the charts. Maybe his focus has already shifted to his next project. Regardless, we all know Drake is capable of going on another lengthy streak whenever he decides to bless us with new material.
