It may have taken an additional week, but the time has come. Drake and 21 Savage have teamed up to deliver their first joint LP, Her Loss. Executive produced by the two award-winning artists, the album features 16 tracks, including “3 a.m. On Glenwood” and “Hours In Silence.”
Drake and 21 Savage have a lengthy track record of working together. Months after delivering Views, the Toronto native teamed up with the Atlanta artist to deliver “Sneakin’.” Unfortunately, it would take four more years until the duo would link up to feature “Mr. Right Now” on Savage Mode II. More recently, the duo has linked up more frequently. Within the last two years, the two have crafted “Jimmy Cooks” and “Knife Talk” with Project Pat. All of their work has led up to a full LP known as Her Loss.
Drake and 21 Savage have been building toward Her Loss for some time now, but the promotion has picked up in recent weeks. Not only did the two link up for an appearance at Morehouse College and Spelman College’s homecoming in Atlanta, but the two Grammy Award winners have released a number of spoofs of The Howard Stern Show and NPR’s Tiny Desk. To top it all off, the duo hosted an episode of Table For One on Sound 42.
