Dr. Marc Lamont Hill Launches ‘Coffee And Books’ Podcast

Dr. Marc Lamont Hill has announced that he will be launching a new podcast called Coffee and Books. The college professor and book store owner will sit down with a different author each week to discuss their writing process, personal journey and much more.

“Coffee and Books podcast is hosted by Marc Lamont Hill, a noted author, social commentator, professor, and owner of a coffee shop and bookstore in Philadelphia named Uncle Bobbie’s Coffee & Books,” the podcast description reads.

“In each episode, he chats with authors and prominent public figures who share the backstory behind their latest book. An organic conversation that flows naturally from the book at hand, through the writer’s journey, and of course, the author’s own taste in books. The tone is curious and smart, informal and enlightening – covering everything from Malcolm X to Are You There God, It’s Me Margaret,” the description continues.

Hill is set to debut the podcast on Monday, July 13, 2020. In the meantime, check out the show’s teaser above.
