Actor Donnie Yen has reportedly joined the cast of the upcoming film, John Wick IV. Yen is a seasoned actor who has extensive experience in combat-heavy films like John Wick IV. During his career, Yen has participated in on-screen combat scenes in xXx: Return of Xander Cage and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Yen joins a cast that is headlined by Keanu Reeves and Rina Sawayama. Chad Stahelski is working as the director while Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee and Louise Rosner are working as producers.
“We are very lucky to have Donnie Yen join the franchise. I am looking forward to working with him in this exciting new role,” Stahelski said.
“Donnie Yen will bring a vibrant and powerful energy to the franchise. We were determined to bring him on board to John Wick 4 and are thrilled for the opportunity to have such a major talent to collaborate with Keanu,” Iwanyk added.
John Wick IV is set to debut in theaters in May 2022.
