As expected, Donald Trump is projected to win all Republican primary elections on Super Tuesday. Notably, he secured 92% or more of the vote in states like Texas, Arkansas and Alabama. Moving forward, it is unlikely that is biggest competitor, Bill Weld, will pose any threat toward his nomination from the GOP.
On the other end of things, there is a bit more competition. Throughout the night, Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders have battled it out in a number of states. Sanders has secured wins in states like Utah and Vermont. While Biden has surprised some with unexpected victories in Massachusetts. Moving forward, the two will look towards California and Texas. The two states hold the most delegates and will play a major role in determining who will battle Trump for a seat in the Oval Office.
In the meantime, Trump will continue to cruise through the next few rounds of primary elections. Stay tuned for more results, news and updates throughout the night as things continue to unfold.
