Donald Trump exited an Atlanta prison subsequent to being processed for over twelve felony charges on Thursday. These charges are connected to an extensive legal proceeding resulting from the ex-U.S. president’s endeavors to reverse his 2020 election loss in Georgia.
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia has verified that the former President indeed had his booking photo captured at Fulton County Jail. This marks a novel occurrence for Trump, as he previously evaded having his picture taken during preliminary hearings for three separate criminal suits.

Roughly 20 minutes following his arrival, Trump’s motorcade departed from the Fulton County detention facility and headed to Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson airport. At the airport, his TRUMP jet stood ready to transport him back to his golf club in New Jersey.
In brief remarks at Atlanta’s airport Trump addressed reporters: “It’s election interference. … I want to thank you for being here. We did nothing wrong at all. And we have every right, every single right, to challenge an election that we think is dishonest. So we think it’s very dishonest.”
